Not up-front with pricing of purchase or of value of trade. Hours of negotiations before I finally got their bottom dollars...To which other amounts got added. Other reviews used the word "sneaky"...very appropriate word for sales department. 7 weeks and still waiting for a promised refund for reimbursement from them for a ups shipment to them; wonder if they pay interest? Funny, they took my down payment a week before we got a vehicle!!!!
Live out of town. Called to request a hold on the car Monday and put a deposit down. When we arrived we had to wait while the car was detailed. After it was 'detailed' still had sticky residue on the seats and crumbs in the seats and under the seats. Also was told they had fixed blemishes. Still had blemishes that I was able to wash off in 10 minutes, so I'm not sure what they had fixed.
Also they forgot to provide the in transit, which is hopefully in the mail.
Have always had an excellent experience buying all my vehicles from Southtown! The sales staff were very helpful as well as the managers went over and beyond to make sure my experience was excellent. Will always go back and would recommend to all family and friends.
Take your pick, these clowns are either buffoons, idiots or just plain liars and cheats. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I will never, ever buy another car or give them any business of mine again. Once was enough. They do excel at taking your hard earned money, but once you are out the door, forget about it, no interaction, no customer service, just pitiful. I bought my car from them over 2 months ago and I still don't have the registration or license plates and I HAVE to keep calling them to see why. They do not call me, they just keep telling me its the prior owners issue. Go figure, I tried to rate them no stars, but it would not let me. My true rating of these goofs would be a minus star.
The car runs great and we are happy with it, but the overall service was poor.
