Absolute terrible experience. Total scam. I was looking with a home inspector upstairs when I let him do his thing in the basement. Total mistake. After about 15 minutes he said he was done and asked for the check. We asked him for the video we were promised, didn't have one. Asked him exactly where he went in for the main line to check the lines. Then we checked those two spots in detail, with a very knowledgable home inspector. There was no possible way he accessed those caps. You could tell he tried from the marks made from his wrench. These were old and rusty, so it would have been obvious if the rust that had accumulated in the seal was broken. It was not. We then took our own wrench, with a pipe for leverage and could not budge the cap. There was no water on the floor, which is typical in this type of project. And as I said the entire thing took far too short of time. The proper thing to have done was to cut off the caps and replace them. But since we were not there he didn't bother. To make things worse we politely called the headquarters to explain the situation. We were screamed at and then hung up on. Do not use this company for anything.

I had an absolutely horrendous experience with this company. I scheduled a sewer inspection with Jet Surge at the time of the general inspection of the home I'm purchasing. I was not present for the sewer inspection as I was upstairs with my general inspector. When he was finished, I inquired about a video of the line and he told me that it wasn't part of the practice to provide one unless something was wrong with the line. After the Jet Surge inspector left, we began inspecting the basement. I was skeptical that the employee was able to obtain access to the sewer, because the entry points to the line were very old and didn't appear to have been moved. I called the company to express my concern and skepticism and was treated very rudely. I brought up the request for the video and he said there was now one, although they told me contradictory information at the time of the inspection. I requested the video to prove that they'd actually performed the service, to which the representative told me he'd provide later in the day via email. I still haven't received the video over a week later. After being yelled at for, the representative on the line abruptly hung up on me. Do not use this company if you expect any quality customer service whatsoever or any guarantee of service.
Cory was sent to assess the problems and quickly and efficiently solved them. He was able to open a cast iron drain in an old house that had not functioned since the house was purchased. He also provided valuable guidance on how to prevent future issues. And this was much less costly than we expected. Great service and quick response!
